Salary Increase
For salary, a pay step increase will be applied from the first working day at the police department.
New Hire Start $55,071 and top wage of $66,245 after 3 years.
2-4 Years of Experience Start $62,521 and top wage of $66,245 after 1 year.
5+ Years of Experience Start at top wage of $66,245.
Does not include a contract wage increase of 2.5% on January 1, 2025.
Prior experience also allows dispatchers an earlier opportunity for certain preferred jobs such as Communications Training Officers. CTO's are also compensated at a 15% higher rate.
